I have to say that I'm with former NY mayor and republican Rudy Giuliani on this one.If your gonna live in this country you had better speak, understand, read and write english andlive by the same rulesas the restof america.[:@]English shouldn't be a second language in our schools,it should be the (language)with otherlanguages offered as courses if wanted. I'm sorry for my rant,I'm not racist, but if we were to move to their country they sure as hell wouldn't cater to us.I live next to New Hampshire and they dont require any insurance and here in Maine you have to at least carry Liability,it's just as easy to get full coverage for your own protection. So many people have lost everything they have because of uninsured drivers and I feel for the ones that have at least the liabilityand get creamed by someone without any, so the one that smacks them is covered and you get nothing and then find out they have only been here for a month or two and don't even have a lic.[:@]

In my case back in 1988, I took a motorcycle safety course (I was 15) in June, turned 16 in August and wrote my written test for my beginners and was legally entitled to rideany motorcycle without restrictions, soI borrowed a friends 1982 440 LTD and hit the road for the whole day on my 16th B-day...it was great.

Now 2008, I believe you can write a written test to get your learner's liscense for the bike, ride for a year (no pasengers, no after dark), then return to the DMV and take the practical test (figure eights, hand signals, etc) and receive your unrestricted bike liscence. But I think if you take the motorcycle course, you can receive your full unrestricted motorcycle liscense through the course without going through the one year restricted stuff.

IMO if you survive the year without getting killed...you should get the full liscence automatically.

That's not right!!! Yea lets let more of them into the country. That's why our insurance is so high because we are paying for illegals and welfare cases.[:@] It should be an automatic year in jail if you get into an accident without insurance. When people have to choose between food and gas or insurance guess what they are going to pick? Its all messed up for sure. I'm glad all I have to decide is how often to wash my bike.[8D]

And why are taxes are so high also!!
