Default Full face helmet anybody?

For those wanting or thinking about a full face...I got this same helmet about 2 months ago. Its comfortable and seems to be made well. Right now its onclearance at Dennis Kirk for 45 bucks- can't go wrong.Great for those cold weather street riding days. Most colors and sizes seem to be in stock.
if anyone is interested...

There is nothing wrong with a MX style helmet. Only the first 10minutes are cold. After that, it doesn't matter because I can't feel a thing.

I like the HJC helmets, they are cheap and comfortableand if you drop it no biggie.I think i'm going with the scorpion evo for my zrx though. It just wouldn't look rightwearing an mx helmet on a streetbike, kinda like wearing a street hemet on a mx

+1 on the HJC. I have had one for the past six years. I bought when working the IMS show at Long Beach Ca.Finally am going to retire it as it's htst plan wearing out on the inside. I put on about 10 to 12K a year so I'm not disappointed in the helmet. The HJC is a very good buy. DOT/Snell all the bells and whistles and I'll get another in spring. Alos just got a KBC X7 Stealth for the KLX. Ihttp://www.ridersdiscount.com/offroad-gear/helmets-adult/29245.php use over size goggle to fit the glasses and it work very well.
I'm sure alot of people will say you don't value your head if you don't spend $500 on a helmet, but if itpasses the saftey ratings, then it's how much you want to spend. (IMO)

I picked up this one for my new street bike. I was going to go with HJC but the wife talked me into getting a nicer one. I'm glad I went with it. This helmey fits awesome and has some really nice features. Besides the sick graphics! I ended up getting it for $375 at Bob's Cycle Supply. They are really close to me which is really nice. Or really bad!

And I"ve got this for the KLX. In green of course. And have to have the green scott goggles to match.

With the MX style. Use a scarf. Warp it around neck loosely and tuck the two ends into the mouth front. Does well, keeps the cold air out from the bottom and mouth breather.
