Default Fuel valve--Which way?

Which way does the reserve fuel valve point on your bike? LEFT OR UP?

My bike points up, but all the diagrams that i have seen even at dealership point to the left. Please check and let me know.

No, i am not talking about which way the valve itself goes on the bike. I know that its obvious.

I am asking which way the purple circle is on your bike.

I thought forums were to learn and ask questions, but apparently for you its a place to tell people lots of ****.
