Fuel tank size terminology

I hit reserve at 100miles pretty much everytime. Just depends on driving style. I think my riding lawnmower holds more haha

^^ I know my mower holds more..yeap you need to keep gas stations in mind with these,It would of been nice of them to start off with a 3gal tank,If you ride all day you have to fill up that day too..

thats about 280 km that would be great, I get 119 km to reserve on the stock tank, I ordered my 3gal (us) tank through a dealer over here in NZ yesterday,

Just carry extra gas with ya, it works every time. LOL

I do, but its not as good as a bigger tank would be

At the average MPG, a 20oz fuel bottle is good for approx. 10 miles. I carry 2-3 20 oz. fuel bottles with me most of the time. I leave them at home when I'm just commuting back and forth to work. Now that I have my new Wolfman E-10 saddle bags, I may just keep one in there all the time.
