Fuel question

Lies !!!
Ethanol is directly responsible for thousands of engine failures every day. Stay away from it !
Its a conspiracy to destroy your vehicle so you have to buy a new one, thus keeping the auto industry afloat and in bed with the oil/alcohol companys.
Remember these are the same people who stole the prototype of the water carburetor, sent the inventor to the gulag and burned his house down.

I think for now I'm going to only use the regular stuff. His truck is set to run on E85 and there is only one station in town that has it. Seems like the last time we used E85 the engine didn't care for it too much so we simply stopped using it.

Ethanol is a subsidized fuel additive that only benefits corn farmers and ethanol manufacturers. My tahoe gets 1-2 mpg better with straight gas. If you Burn E-85 and think you are saving money, check your mileage vs. Actual fuel used and you will be surprised. That is my experience with a flex fuel f150. A lot of environmentalists are even backing off the ethanol love fest as it uses alot of ground water to produce ethanol. If you have to burn more fuel to go the same distance what is the point. That is why I said avoid it if you can.

You know...I never realized that was an 85% amount of ethanol. I never used any of it even though my van is a flex-fuel vehicle. Man...that's a lot of corn cobs.

I don’t know about you state side boys but in my old carburettor car (a 1981 1.8L 4 cylinder) the 10% ethanol mix gave me crappy millage. So I only used standard.
My current modern fuel injected car (2004 4.0L straight 6) seems to run the same millage with the 10% ethanol vrs standard petrol.
