Is it just an optical illusion or is the back tire on the one on the left really fat? Look's kind'a cool I think. I came upon a muddy creek crossing this weekend and wished I had some more suitable tires. I was worried I'd sink out of sight and being alone decided not to risk it so I turned around. But the up-side is that I'd just come down a rather gnarly rocky hill - not too long, but quite steep. It was a blast going back up. Made it on the 2nd try. Fun stuff!

Hey Deej - what's the story behind the 2nd Yamaha in the back of your truck? You aren't turnin' yellow on us, are you?

You mean blue right? Yellow would be Suzooks.
That's a TW200 on the left. Yes the bike is very low and has very fat tires.

Yeah, I guess I'm showing my age ... I remember them being yellow and black when I was growing up in the 70's and 80's. It's still hard for me to identify with a blue Yamaha. Just doesn't feel right. I see you can get the 2006 YZ250F in yellow - "Special Anniversary Edition", for only $200 more

RE: Fuel Mileage
Don't worry guys, I just picked up a 2003 Yamaha XT 225 and a 2004 Yamaha TW 200 in Oregon for a friend. teaching them to ride, and have scheduled two other couples and my wife to take the BRC (Beginner Rider Course) Looks like all the classes are full until October 21, 22. My wife is getting pretty confident, of course I think a little too confident, but maybe I'm old and I just worry too much. She's worked up to 3rd gear and 25 mph on the big lawn at work. Baby steps honey......baby steps[:-]
