Fuel Lines and Smog Plugs
#11
I will be ordering OEM hoses in the next day or 2. I did not notice a difference in hose sizes and replace both with 1/4inch, that may be part of the problem. Went for a longer ride and the lines held so it will work till I get the OEM parts.
Taking out the emissions crap really cleans up the under tank area. Looking forward to the cooler exhaust too.
In regards to the jetkit (128main 3rd clip) I just installed it seems to have made the bike have a more distinct powerband. Anyone else notice this?

Parts unlimited has some really nice blue urethane fuel line in various diameters if you can find a vendor that sells it. I bought a bunch of it a few years back from Dennis kirk and have re-plumbed all of my carbed bikes with it.
Great stuff, very tough and kink resistant and looks good too if you like semi-clear blue fuel lines

Yeah for sure, im running a stage 2 kit with the snorkel removed and I actually feel like I'm riding a bike now. Thing friggin rips after putting in the dynojet kit, easily the cheapest upgrade I have done so far that has made the greatest impact.
