Did it fit OK? Any interference with the oil line?

I'd like to order one for my 07 250.
Yeah, actually, the FSW header just does touch the oil line on my '07. I posted about that somewhere else on the forum and had intended to call FSW and see what they recommend. I think I'll do that today now that you remind me. Also the header is larger diameter than stock and there's not much room between the exhaust port and the frame, making it a bit touch to torque down the header bolts. I had to use a 1/4 " extension and socket.

Please keep us posted. I'd like to install a bigger header.

No you don't.
There's no magic in the KLX exhaust, I don't care who makes it.
It's $10 worth of tubing, $40 labour, and $400 mark up.

What about the countless hours of R & D and prototypes left in the bin. The Staintune isn't just some tubing welded together. A special effort was made to get the best from the KLX 250 with a few 'other mods' The result, nearly 40 rear wheel horsepower, and that was back in 2000.

BTW how is your TIG, MIG welding, or perhaps your skill with stainless steel. Someone has to pay for those skills.

The Kevin Doyle KLX didn't use the stroker kit.
But it did have the kawasaki 300 kit, I think. (same stroke, just bigger bore) and a whole heap of other stuff.
Cams, piston, valves, ignition etc etc etc. I think.
Read about it somewhere.
Oh and it did use a Staintune exhaust.

Staintune make a fine product even though its a bit expensive.
Looks horn.
Stuck out a bit far for my liking and for me that would mean it wouldn't look horn for long.

Anyway, exhausts on there own do very little in the way of extra power.
If you're going to open it up at one end, at least do the other end a jet accordingly. And then any exhaust will do the job.
