Really, this is what it has come too? There has to be a more pressing issue than a little squeek, espesially since most of you run those harley mufflers.

Disk brake rubbing! not dragging, not a problem. Or in the video, tire noise on a clean floor, wet the floor and try the same thing.

Check this... when I had my bike in the shop for new tires, the top mech looked at the front end and said someone changed the spacer as the disk was almost rubbing the hard mount part of the brake caliper, he had the wrench take the spacer out and trim 10mm to give the disk more room.

At slow riding speed it's a very faint whistle.

I still run the stock muffler. I like quiet. Other than a leaky valve cover gasket, this is the only "issue" my KLX has. I don't think it's brakes, but it could be. I'll have to play with the brake next time it happens, but it sounds like a seal to me. The sound reminds me of a finger on the rim of a wine glass. At just the right speed it resonates. The video was shot on carpet. I had the same noise on cement. Same noise in dirt too. A little water on the front end and it was gone.

I'm not gonna waste time trying to get rid of the noise, but capturing the sound on my phone was like getting video of bigfoot... the mystery continues.
