Front Brakes?

Front Brakes?
I've noticed that everybody is having front brake issues. I haven't changed anything about mine and they work great. I accidentally did an endo in my road test for my license they work so well. I can lock up the front brake with two fingers easily, although I haven't tried it at highway speeds and I don't plan on it. What would be the difference between mine and all the others? Does it have anything to do with the way it was set-up at the dealer?

RE: Front Brakes?
Hard to say.. it could be the dealer. I might just need to try bleeding my lines... or maybe the pads didn't get seated properly or have a glaze on them. Either way, the lever is still too squicky for my taste... so I ordered a Galfer SS braided line for the front and some premium DOT 4 brake fluid.

RE: Front Brakes?
I've put a couple thousand miles on my KLX and thought the fronts where a little soft. Riding my KLR650 after 4 months of collecting dust (due to having the new KLX), I have come to appreciate the brakes on the 250. I'm sure just adding a braided line will give the added stopping power many want.

Dang, everybody is having front brake issues is news to me!
I kind of like the front brakes on my bike as is. They work a whole lot better than the KLR650. Wonder if that has something to do with the twin pot calipers or the 150 less in weight?
Regardless, I don't have any issues with the front brakes on the KLX.
