Is there a nut missing or does the axle just thread into the fork? Txs, Dave

digitty you should check out the Big Woods 200 DS ride in Wabeno Wi. ( east of Rhinelander??) I don't think that's far from you Sept 29-30 couple hundred miles of trails, logging roads, and some "hero, single track, sections" thrown in Great time, which unfortunately I think I am missing this year.

Looking at the Bike Bandit site, I think you're right. I'm surprised they changed this element in the fork/front hub for the later KLX's. Maybe there's more difference than just reduced travel on the later fork than I first assumed.

Considering the number of differences between the '06/'07 and the '09 -> newer I wish everyone would mention the year of their bike with their posted question or even better their sig or profile.

Click on "user CP" in the menu bar near the top of the page below the Kawasaki Forums banner and then go to "edit signature".
