Free NIB OEM KDX200 Snorkel - just pay shipping
I have an extra KDX200 duct inlet (aka snorkel) that I'm happy to pass on for free to anyone looking for one. All I ask is that you pay actual shipping cost. Shouldn't be much if you don't mind snail mail.

I’ll let snappster answer re wether or not it’s still available (sounds like it’s gone).
Simply put if you search the threads you’ll find all kinds of mods to help increase the hp and torque of your KLX. It’s a fact that these engines are heavily constricted to meet stringent smog and noise etc goals. Not so with the older KDXs. The KDX snorkel allows a lot more air flow. BUT as you will find on this site the best way to get more air to the engine is to go lidless with a high flow filter. That’s just part of the mods, but it works. Some use the KDX method because going lidless is loud.
before you do any mods I suggest you go to the stickies as they will clearly detail the dos and don’t s. You don’t want to just piece meal the mods as it’s a complete package from air in, to carb or efi, to MCM to exhaust.

Ahh I see I see. Thanks for the info! I have a bone stock (besides rear luggage rack & cell phone holder) 2018 klx, which I think is the first year with EFI so yeah, will definitely have to investigate further if I wanted to do any sort of modifications! For the time-being I think I'll stay stock, I just thought maybe the snorkel raised higher to prevent water-flooding or something that's all. Thanks!

Hey that's an idea! ... like those groovy huppy-puppies with their jeepy's. Put a big hose on it and run that up to above the handlebars or attach it to your helmet! .. like they are going to drive their leather seated big wheel into a crocodile infested mud hole up to there eyeballs.
