Found Something of Great Interest To Me
I was doing some surfing today and ran across something that I think I might be adding to most of my bikes.
You can move the license plate up onto the green fender on the KLX and still be street legal.

cool marty.. I'm thinking that my winter project will be to remove the liscense plate holder and move everything up so its more dirt bike looking... this, along with the strobe taillight

Gad durn it! That Dual Star tailight won't fit in my D-tracker's lense. I'm considering buying the LEDs and making one. I just don't know how ambitious I will be after my major mods are done this winter.

RE: Found Something of Great Interest To Me
It fits the KLX250 perfectly. My model is the D-tracker which is the motard form of KLX250 sold only in Japan. My tail light is smaller[:@]
Since the light was built for the KLR650, all you do is turn it upside down and it will fit the KLX250 with no problem.

RE: Found Something of Great Interest To Me
thanks for the idea.. bookmarked.. i just took a nice piece of 20" x 20" 1/8th thick aluminum home from work tonight to make a nice mounting bracket for the plate sometime soon... those lights will wrap the mod up perfect as i was worried about the plate light and gettin hassled over it.
