1994 to 2003 KX125/250 fork guards will work. They are not a direct bolt on but the trimming and modification is very easy. They flex and are not brittle like the stock KLX250/300 guards. You will also need the KX fork guides as well. On the guides I used a strip of 1/2", I think, clear rubber tubing sliced down the middle for a shim. The KX forks are slightly larger in diameter is the reason for the shim and you can't see it. Ithink the UFO's are the only ones that come with the guides. Otherwise you can get them separate from Kawasaki. This would also be the time to put on a braided brake line in the Honda CR style routing. Do a search for CR brake line or Ride Engineering and you could read up on that if you want. If you go with the Ride Engineering system you do not need the left guide.

Hey Agoos, it's actually 1996 to 2003

I ordered the ufo ones, they come in either black or white ... that's it....but they come with the guides, otherwise I would have gotten the arcebis ones but the stock kx guides are exspensive......ufo BLACK with guides were only $27....but I have not recieved them yet so no fitting comments but Agoos and others have done it on thumper...no worries

UFO #KA03704-001 Denniskirk, bikebandit and babbits all got em

A factory pic They better work.

They should be all the same 1994 to 2003.1994 was the first year of the more wrap around style. The aftermarket may start and end with different years. I have used Acerbis guards on two bikes and newKawasaki guides from1995 and 2001. The guides were identical. You may get them to work without the "shim" butwithout they moved around some when getting hit by brush and stuff while riding off road. The shim made them solid and stable. You can't really see it. It's mostly hidden under the guide. Starting from scratch get the UFO's unless you want a different color. The Kawasaki guides are expensive and only come in "white". Remember if you do the Ride Engineering CR brake line you only need one guide.
