Default Footpegs for a 2009 KLX250S

Hi all, Does anyone out there know what aftermarket footpegs will fit on a 2009 KLX. I have the stock pegs and they are so small it always feels like my feet will slip off ther ends. I don't want to spend the money on the racing pegs with the removable spikes. Too much $$$.

Not sure if they will fit the 09 - but a buddy of mine has these for his 07:

They're cheap, and they're wider. He's been running them (hard!) for two seasons with no problems..

If you posted this a few days ago they were running a special for 40% off these!!!!! Ended 12/19

So we're not sure if either of these pegs will fit on an 09? I'd hate to order a set and have them not fit.
It's too bad the KLX250 is not list by alot of parts companies!!

Thanks for the info.

If you have access to a welder or someone who can do it for you and can scarf up some scrap steel about 3/16" thick then you can modify the existing pegs. Below are some pics of my 2007 KLX pegs that I modified. With size 11 MX boots on and standing up I kept loosing my foot off the pegs. This mod added about an inch in overall length and works great. The only downside is you tend to snag your shin a little more often.
