Default folks who have added aftermarket handguards...

How did they fit around the front brake resevoir? It looks to me like the whole thing is one unit (brake resevoir and brush guard mount). Can anyone post a closeup pic of their guards?

Thanks!

Hmm, I think I get it now. They mount much further in than I thought. What brand are those?

I'd still love to see some more pics from other members. Particulary anyone with the Moose Racing Contour guards if anyone has them.

I got these in my stocking this Christmas:

But I still need to get these to mount them:

Or maybe I need to return them. I'm just not sure!

I ordered Acebis Rally Pros the other day, I am kind worried about making them fit. But I saw lots of pics of other members bikes on the forum with them installed so I think I can make them work. They will be here on Monday. I will be looking forward to getting them installed, I broke the stock ones off the first couple of times I went riding. Once I get them installed I can send you a pic.

here's mine. they are the moose bark busters. you can see in the pic's where i notched out the plastic to make room for the banjo bolt.

if you need a different angle just let me know.i've been down plenty of times since i installed these last year and have not had any problems.

Here's mine, I have the Acerbis with the turns built in. I drilled a hole with a hole saw, I wish I had used a smaller size, but it works. I also included a couple of pics of the hand guards that I installed on the wife's bike. Now that I put the stock turns back on, I wish I had the pro rally ones on the KLX, they have the Aluminum bar which makes them 5 times stronger.

Shameless posting of the wife disguised as a hand guard post.[8D]

I have the Ufo one on mine with the aluminum bar in it and they fit just like the Moose set that lcpl0331 have on his bike. Same notch for the banjo bolt too. And I have a set of pro-taper Cr bend on it with Rox handle bar riser.

Awesome, thanks everyone for the pics. I need to visit my dealer soon for a stateinspection and a new rear tire so I'll put in an order for the handguards and some other goodies while I'm at it.

Rocky mountain tusk brand- low price high quality- the mount has a swivel in it where it attaches to the bar- very nice.
