Default FMF slip on, should I still jet?

So 4 months waiting and I still haven't received my Muzzy. They keep stalling for some reason or another. I'm thinking of selling the Muzzy on eBay or here and just getting the FMF slip on. I really like the style, I know it wont give the same performance. My question is should I, or can I still jet the carb with a slip on? I have the Dyno Kit.

Most certainly, along with the usual airbox intake mods too.

4 MONTHS!!!!! I would call them back and let them have it, and if you already paid you need to tell them you want a full refund. That's not acceptable. I ordered the Muzzy through the bike shop and had them do the work which included the Muzzy, jetting and the rear 45 tooth. From the time I ordered and they were done with the bike it was less than 2 weeks. The actual down time was only 1 weekend. You need to order from a different place or a different pipe. [:@]

I ordered my Muzzy from a small local dealer, he gives good deals, but is a little slow at times. I just received it today. Anyone interested in it? Its hard not to put it on since I've waited so long, but I like the FMF so I'm looking to sell it.

Are you buying the Q2 slip on?

I know it says KLX250/KLX300, how does that work? I thought the KLX300 had a larger head pipe?

Yeah the Q2. I'm not sure how it works but they claim it does.
