FMF Powerbomb installed
The Powerbomb came today and I couldn't wait so I threw it on. Install was simple as I already had the Powercore 4 slip-on on the bike. Other than a smashed finger it went on in about 10 minutes as it dosen't even need the clamp it slips on with a good seal as delivered. It's about 32 degrees F here now so it was cold for the test ride. I was sure from looking at it that I was installing a gimmic at best that would kill the low end torque as it is alot bigger pipe than the stock piece it replaces. I'm an idiot! The bike is way snappier right off idle, pulls the front end up way more easily than before. Much easier to ride wheelies on now as it takes no effort to get it up. It was a little cold but I went for a blast down the road and the bike ran fine overall. The place I really noticed the change was on the low end and that is just what I had hoped for. I'll write more tomarrow after I've put some time in but as of now I'm sold as it did as much as I could hope for. It changed the sound of the bike alittle, not much but some and it glows red at low speeds even in the cold. I still have all my smog stuff hooked up so that is part of that I guess but I didn't notice the stock pipe doing that. Like I said so far so good.

Interesting. Thanks for the quick post. I would love to know how it compares to the 300 header too as I believe the Aussie model comes with that header which is bigger than the stock US header.
Please keep us posted on your longer term findings.

My hands were freezing and I was trying to twist the pipes together and had no help and bam, and yea the cold made it worse but I came in and as it warmed up it got worse yet. Oh, it was still worth it.
