i ordered the fmf kit so i would get my tank and the kit at the same time. i remember reading somewhere that the fmf is a resold dj, is this true? if theres any diffrances, what are they? also, what size jets should i run with no snorkle and some after market filter, no pipe? im guessing 128 main with 2.5 turns out. i ride between 1000-2000 feet.

edit: and yes, i did search.

 

I'm running a 128 main jet, no snorkel, stock filter, stock pipe, I ride less than 300 feet above sea level. About 2.5 turns out on the A/F screw. Don't get me lying if that's too rich for your altitude, although your better-flowing air filter probably makes up for it.

Same thing. I believe I ordered a FMF from Rocky Mth MC for my 06 & it came in flat out DJ, no mention of FMF even. I also ordered a K&N one for another make/model of machine, the outer box was K&N, inside was all DJ.
