now...see..that is what I'm talking Bout....Great video man....Thanks a million....

while I see it's pretty straight forward...I see it looks like I need to take off the the 4 small bolts on either side of the tire..........

Does the brake line come into play??? Looks like that needs to come off also???

Yes the front may require you to remove the little plate that holds the axle, or at a minimum losen them so you can unscrew the axle. From there the wheel will pull right out and there is now messing with the break directly. Piece of cake, the first time is always the hardest after that is gravy. Good luck.

Yep its pretty striaght forward, I just finished my first motorcycle tire change... put a Kenda 760 120/100/18 rear on.....only issue was releasing a little pressure on the rear caliper to get the rim back on. I used my new emergency tire iron kit and it worked like a champ. I just took off the front and no problems, don't touch the brake, just be careful with the speedo thing.

Ok I gotta get my new rubber on the front, beer break is over btw if you're curious my new front is a Pirelli MXMS 80/100/21, barely DOT legal, but supposedly floats on sugar sand.....I'll find out tomorrow after work.

jeepphamilee pretty much covered it.
Get some tire irons and the rest of the necessities. Be sure and get at least three tire irons. You'll see why once you start working a tire on or off. Get rid of the rubber strip on the rim and replace it with a layer or two of duct tape torn to the correct width.

Flats have more to do with terrain and debris than it does with the tire, I believe. There's so many thorns and sharp rocks where I ride and that makes flats fairly common.

Change them enough and you'll feel like Dick Burleson out there on the ISDT trails.

The tires are a piece of cake to do, when i did my first one, alot of people make a big deal about it... it was easy, i had the back tire off and changed and back on the bike with in an hour

ive have never got a flat yet, and you do need bead locks for the front? i wouldnt think so cause its just "along for the ride" its not like it has the motor trying to spin the wheel???

EMS, No rim lock required for the fronts.

Thunderchild, how do you like getting slapped with the Mesquite thorns!? I hate those things, but they make you appreciate Slime

This may be crazy, but Last night I added plenty of air to the front tire just as a GOOF...........

Well today, it's still FULL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I know for a fact that at least 3/4 of the air came out of tire in one day............

Could this in any way be normal????

I did get the bike up to 70mph for the 1st time, the weather yesterday here was 50.....how could this be???

Wierd!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drove home from riding,on the way Front tire goes flat, get it home, post on here, pump it up..........

Sits for 24 hours and tire still full???????????/

No patching, no dealer, I didn't even take tire off yet???

How can this happen?? A tire goes flat, only to be filled up and stay full?????

Someone please explain........I don't even want to take it out for fear of it going flat again.......

Dave
