This is what I bring every time I go fishing at spots that I can get to with my motorcycle. A PVC tube caped at one end, and a threaded cap on the other will work too. If I catch fish, I finish offall the beer and put fish in the box in my backpack. I strap the tube with the pole angled across my back. Sometimes I have it under my backpack shoulder strap and over my handlebars.
