first ride report (NEPA)
242 miles on it now... did a 35 mile jot after work to kick off my 6 day weeked. Must say the motor is coming to life... ran the first hundred miles under 7k RPM mostly, now shes really startin to come to life when i take it to 9k RPM+ Rear tire is kickin out when i get on it in 2nd in the loose stuff.
all these pics r from the Forest City area and Uniondale PA.
Theres alot of damage on the mountains here from runoff from the recent flooding we had. Heres 3 pics that really show the power of that water runnin down a steep mountain.
heres what used to be a trail b4 the water washed it out... if ya look straight on in the pic you'lll see where the trail continues on the far side.
this is lookin up the mountain towards the direction the water came from..... remember this was a large heavily wodded hill b4 the floods.
this is down the hill.
Stillwater Dam (backside)

this is a road that leads to the local game lands. off in the far distance you can make out Elk Mountain ski resort.
