Glad I bought a Staintune.
Cost of repacking ..................................... $0
Time spent repacking ................................ 0 mins
Time spent removing fiberglass from hands .... 0 mins

[8D]
Priceless...........For everything else there's MasterCard[8D]
yes but i didn't have to use my mastercard to get my packing or make 17 payments to buy my exhaust system............or try to get it to me...
Not bustin on ya but i couldn't even find one of those things that would be shipped to me without going broke.....But then again you are from OZ and you are alot closer to Japan than me......big difference.
Now if FMF would just make the Powerline silencer for the KLX it'd be sweet.... no packing as well.and quiet too.My atv has one and it is darn sweet.

Truckman,
Do you relaize that you do not need to drill the rivets out and remove the rear end cap to re-pack your FMF PC4 pipe?
I can repack my FMF Q4 in 5 minutes and no cursing but I do use FMF Premier Packing which makes it easy and lasts twice as long as most other packing.

I did realize that but i did not have the time to wait for the packing to ship to me nor did my dealer have it in stock as he had just sold the last bundle the day before....[:'(] I do realize that it is possible to do a repack in 5 miutes when you have the "roll" but i was left without options and i did have my day planned.....oh well it works well .....I originally wanted the FMF premium for my steed but it wasn't happening...You are right though 100%.My packing was wasted and i ride her as a commuter every day along with some local adveture stuff......i had to quiet it down because it was getting bad......is wearing earplugs all the time mean it's bad?

Question for you: Big Gun says there are two different lengths of baffles. 15 and 17 inch.
Which one did you use? (I take it you have the EVO X?)
yes i have the evo x.... do a search on dirtsurfers ordeal about ordering a quiet core, and there was another guy who had problems... but you have to give them exact dimensions of your existing core, which is (should be) the same as mine, its the 15" one, your best bet is to call and order it on the phone, you need to know how big the "bell" end is, diameter and length.
