Default First crash

Well got the first crash done on the new KLX. Did a moron move in the rocks. Forgot to loosen the perch bolts so I bent the brake lever and a mirror. Anyway glad it's finally got some rash and I can quit worring about it.

Those are some nasty looking big rocks! I'll bet they would leave some big bruises.

Like that first scratch in the bed of your pickup truck. After that you can actually start using it for what it was meant for.

Glad you and the bike are OK. I'm assuming you are OK - didn't say in your post. Looks like it'd be awefully easy to break a collar bone on those rocks. Not that I would know anything about that.

If you own a truck and there is no scratches in the bed ( if it doesnt have a bed liner) Then you need to sell your truck and go buy a minivan or something.... My dads '73 chevy, you can see all the bed rails from the top, it has been a work truck its entire life, and still runnin strong, anything you can think of has been in there...

It didn't take long for mine to get some. I'm thinking about a spray on bed liner, but I'd rather spend the $ on the KLX.

Sounds like you made it out in one piece. Congrats Hate it when the ride gets a scratch. The pic of yours looks similar to the Nevada terrain.
