Ok i'm stupid. I thought it'd show me details on the spark plug (i wanna look at it before i break appart my setup)....where is it [&o].
Also was doing some more reading, and it might be more practical just to change the needle setting before doing all that work. Since i'm sure its not running too too lean as the bike runs well. I'm just paranoid. plus the head pipe has discolored a bit already and i wasnt sure if it was supposed to that fast.
just paranoia really.
cheers

lol.... ur funny HD.....
Stellar... id imagine it would be better to be a little rich than running lean..... so i would rather make it a little fat then lean it out and toast more valves or the motor......... jmo though....

RE: finished the mods....but....
The typical setup for a full exhaust open airbox is a 128 Keihin jet, which the equivalent DJ jet is actually a higher number, I wouldn't be surprised if you were very very close to the stock size jet. I have a 125 Keihin jet and the Keihin adjustable needle and a stock KLX300 exhaust and it made a very noticeable difference in power. A "true" aftermarket exhaust should make a few ponies more than my setup............if jetted correctly. If you don't notice much difference in the top end pull (in any gear, not just 6th) then your main jet is most likely too small.

Well I took it for a better spin today and this is what I've got. anything over 6k for rpms is great, strong..like it alot. anything really uder 5 is no different really. It also starts to pop alot more on decel when it gets under 6, ad even more at 4.
EMS i'd definately like to run richer than leaner. i definately think i'm lean right now
