Finished last mods...just in time for winter
I got the sunstar 13t and the renthal 45 sprockets slapped on the bike today, and chained it up with a renthal o ring type chain (its gold color bling bling). Many thanks to Kawi Wawi for the awesome write up on how to remove and install a chain found here:
https://www.kawasakiforums.com/m_71060/tm.htm
I had to turn the snails to about 6.5 setting as 7 seemed too tight (plus the bolt on the chain guard was in the way, anyone have this prob?). I know i'm going to have to adjust it as it slacks, so hopefully i can get around that bolt.
Havent tried it out yet as its too late and the muzzy is pretty loud, but I'll comment on the improvements tomorrow. I'm expecting to gain a gear down low and lose one up top but thats fine with me as long as i can get that front tire up.
So heres what I did this summer:
Acerbis rally dual sport handguards, and rear flush mount lights.
dunlop 606's
muzzy full exhaust
UNI air filter, smog removal
nobrakes crankcase mod
dynojet carb mods and T-vent mods
13/45 gearing combo
Very different bike now. I'm very pleased with what all the mods have to offer and I'm dying to take it for a spin tomorrow with the new gearing. I probably spent almost 1000 (the muzzy ended up almost costing 650 after taxes and shipping etc) but the difference is night and day, and the bike will last me another couple years before i outgrow it.
Too bad theres only really a month left of good riding [:@]

Dude, take off the chain guard and put it in the box with all the other stuff, like exhaust, stock turn signals, air box lid, license holder, oh maybe that was just me.

Deej right now we're at about 95 cents to the US dollar. So shopping in the US makes wicked sense now. Although the price of the muzzy has gone up I beleive. I got it right through them and it was around 500 bucks US from their site.
As for the sprockets, got them from dennis kirk, and are as follows:
13t sunstar 18.99
45 renthal 61.99
114 link renthal o ring chain 93.99
and i got a spiffy shift hat for 21.95
So heres some pics
Ok its not working help!!!! I'm clicking on the embed picture option and i can see the pictures when I edit the post but nothing appears in the forum

I'll try this
Big fan of the gold chain.
The rack wont fit over top of the light but oh well. I never really used it anyway.
Acerbis handguards, very good IMO, aside from the dim lights.
Note the beerpong sticker. It adds an extra horse and improves the chick magnetness of the bike
My special place that made it all happen
And my filthy truck for good measure
A closeup

As far as electricians, i'm sure theres lots of heavy duty stuff to do out here. And by sneakers I guess you mean tires? thems dunlop 606's. Brilliant tire.
