It seems like an incredibly slow, painful process, but I finally did it. Not that 1000 miles holds any significance, I just thought I would be there a lot sooner. I bought it in January and 8 months later I've still got only 1000 miles on it. Man, I need to ride more.

I'm taking tomorrow off from work and I'm going to get my KLX VERY dirty. I'm talking pornstar dirty. Wish me luck.

my first year i was just past 10000 i think.

 

Well, I accomplished my goal. 60+ miles of mostly tight, technical, single-track that was very muddy. I am completely wiped right now. I'll post some pix in a minute, I'm just uploading them to photobucket.
