RE: Finally it has arrived!!!!!!
I first dealt with ballards http://www.ballards.cc/Text/12028852...CATALOGUE-2008but decided to go local with Wayne Leonards http://www.wayneleonard.com.au/and ordered through them. They then hadthe pipebrought over from Western Australia which took about 4 days. Total cost for the pipe was $580. Other places wanted to charge me anywhere from $600 to $660. For the entire system I was looking at about $880 to $900. If I decide to go 300cc later on down the track I will get the header. I was told I would have no problem installing this later and that the stainetune was not only one of the best sounding pipes but one of the easiest to install yourself. Hope this helps.

it looks nice but imo, way too much dough for a slip-on. and it does stick out an awful lot. if you don't rejet, you're selling yourself and your new slip-on short. doesn't staintune put their name on their products anywhere? looks generic to me w/o a logo somewhere. I know some of you hate nameplates, but I wouldn't like the Muzzy nearly as much if it were just a plain piece of metal back there.
also, it's nice to see that it mounts up in two factory fastener locations. The muzzy and biggun do too. The two-brothers only uses one mount which I've always thought may be a little flimsy in the rough.

Klxowner if you take a close look you on the bling photo you will see the staintune stamp............nice and subtle just the way I like it. As far as price goes I couldnt give a ducks nutts as long as it performs and there is no complaints there thats for sure. Have a good one bud.

As far as heat I have a procircuit t-4 and I was driving home the other day on the interstate at about 80-85 mph and I held it there almost all the way home till I got off the exit. I got off and looked down and the head pipe was glowing bright red and looked like it would burn u if u looked at it the wrong way. I got burned by it a little while back. does anyone other than deej have any ideas of how to keep the heat down. BTW deej I love the exhaust guard with ur pipe... I need to find a new head pipe any ideas?

Holy crap!!! I have had 2 2007 KLX250s (first one got robbed) and my headpipe has NEVER got that hot. I have herd of this happening on the big 450 Race bikes and such because there is no cooling fan, and they are run at harsh extremes. The little KLX should not get that hot Expecially at 85mph where the wind is cooling it. I think there is issues there?? your prob to lean.
