Finally got my KLX dirty...
I finally got my bike dirty...I did it by falling.
...and...
That fall tweaked my ankle a bit so I wised up, got back on tarmac and rode out onto Jean Dry Lake Bed (a bit NE of Jean, NV which is the second "town" north of the CA/NV stateline on I-15).

Before you know it with a couple more innocent falls like that and you'll break the hand guards and bend the stock bars making the ride home almost impossible. Not being a pessimist but it happened to me, so if I could offer some advice it would betwo fold.
#1 invest in a good pair of bars
#2 get a good set of brush guards
They are both worth their wieght in GOLD and have saved my **** a million times.
Stay Safe
