Question for ya EMS, How did ya get the klx to loft the front in dirt when you were already at a high rate of speed? I've ridden with ya so I know ya like to go fast. btw that rut could have been bad.

That's Flatistan, lol....you got to come down to the Scrub sometime, way better and tighter.

 

i went out today for a bit myself. 4th ride so far this spring.these pics are from a few daysback.


we hit this after about 40 miles and it was hell. 1/2 mile of half frozen mud. no grip and the ruts were deeper thanthey look.

this was at the break right after the cornfield torture.

this wasn't half frozen. the mud waslike thickgreasy pudding.took the 3 of us to get it out.

Glad to see people getting out this spring. I got my new street bike out today for a few. I can't wait to get out to the trails again. I have a feeling it will be a few weeks or more for my until the trail open up. We still have a bunch of snow on the ground.

 

Very carefully!!!! I was moving but not as fast as i could because i knew that there was alot of things like that where i was. It was crazy, just as i came up the little hill the dirt on both sides was the same, so i couldnt see it at all til i was like 5 feet from it and by that time i used my old motto, when in doubt gas it out!!! So i just dropped a gear real quick and nailed it.... It happened one other time yesterday too, was just as bad... there is alot of washed out areas where i was, the other time was like a 3' wide by 3' deep washed out trench with vertical sides on both sides and i hit it diagonally.... I can already tell im going to be riding dirt harder this year because if i break something i still have another bike to ride
