Changed my Oil after 4400 miles There was about a pint of dark dark black oil in it though. She still runs srong somehow.

Will.....Please tell us you changed it after 20 miles at least the first time. Dude, bikes don't grow on trees.[8D]

Just a word of advice:
When you pull a bone headed maneuver it's usually best not to go out in public with your pants down and tell everyone about it.
If you really did do this and the bike still runs I wouldn’t get my hopes up on the longevity left in that motor.

If there was only a pint left in it, that motor won't be long for the world. The sight glass on the side is there for a reason.

We all know that that seems way too long between oil changes but look in our manual, they are like 6000-7500 miles apart recommended by Kawi.

im changin mine every 500-750 miles.. with a high revvin little motor like ours if u dont change it often..........

Seriously dude, It's so cheap to put 1.5 qts & a filter in these bikes and takes only 5 minutes. Why would you put your engine through such torture? Especially on the first oil change. I order you to give yourself 50 lashes with a wet noodle.

Who cares it's his bike! If he wants to run water in the engine it's his prerogative.
