Soooooo im waiting for my 351 cly to be made up and found a ims tank on flea bay for $50.00.Was wondering if 120mm x 25mm fan would fit in there or would only two 60mm x 25mm fit? Havnt got the tank yet, so just researching, looks like there isnt enough room for the 120mm (4.7 inch x i inch).The good thing is the 120mm fan pulls 175cfm or somthing like that!!

Search Nobrakes posts. I think it was he that was using aftermarket electric fans because of clearance issues with a larger tank. He did a nice write up on the tank install.

Computer fans?

 

I bought mine from Comairrotron. I'll dig around for the contact #. They are waterproof computer fans about 2.5 inches square and 5/8 thick. They were 7$ each 3 or so years ago. They are what Brian,Bnwd ? used when he did his. Hope that helps. Feel free to PM me re: this. Later.

Newparts is right! It was bmwhd (todd?) that did the original write up on the fans. Looks like the pics are missing now.

I read the great info from the write ups, Ill wait to see if I can somehow stuff the 120mm one in there as it really moves the air compared to the 60mm ones and might be able to use only one or two vs two or four.
