Experience with aftermarket headlights?

I put the X-2 on too. Haven't ridden it at night yet, so no feedback on light output from me.
I think it would look better with the graphics decal TrailTech sells but since I didn't order it when I ordered the light it's going to end up costing me $20! $9 something for the decal and $9 something for shipping! I would think you could mail that for a couple bucks!!! I'm obviously a cheap bastard at times, it's just the principal that is killing me.

I don't yet. Someone else posted the first link on here before. I'm pretty sure I remember them saying that it was tons better than the OEM light. I was going to go with the more expensive model before these were posted. I'm still on the fence right now about it. I bought some cheap aftermarket HID lights for my truck and a year later I was putting the originals back on. Some times you get what you pay for. Again though there was someone on this site that said they were good.

I bought the Moose one in the pic on the first page. It had good reviews so we'll see.
I think the stock light on the '09 KLX is awesome. A lot better than my '07 KLR. That whole assembly on the KLR is friggin huge and heavy and the light it makes just sucks. It is not going back on after I get these new forks on. If anything, it's going up for sale. I think this Moose one might just make a huge improvement in the weight and light department.
I'll post on it when it comes.

I know of a guy with a yzf and E-Line lighting coil that installed a cheap hid kit into a dot legal aftermarket headlight...I think the omaha or colorado model and it was impressive for 2a.m. woods riding. He could ride behind us in the deep woods and light the way with our lights turned off. Researching these kits before you buy makes a difference.
