My base is a 351. I just acquired a FSW header and 300 KLX muffler (not installed yet). I want to replace the peashooter tip (it reflects on my manhood) but still want a reasonably quiet pipe. Quieter the better for me. After market there is a 3D CNC with a 1 3/8" opening and a Billet Exhaust with a 1 5/8" opening. Any relections on pros and cons of these.

If they both are too loud could I fabricate a round disk and drill a smaller hole in the center and place that between the tip and pipe to quiet it?

My mechanical skill are challenged using a tv remote so consider than in fixes. thanks, all.
