Hey guys mate of mine just found out that the yz250 muffler will fit his wr250 of the same year model.
Just wondering if this might be the case with kx and klx.
Anyone know if this may work????

One problem with the KLX250S is that the head pipe is dismally small and is one of the problems with performance on this bike. So even if a KX or other muffler fits, it might be like putting lipstick on a pig.

Another issue is that many MX mufflers don't have spark arrestors if I recall. Now, one might not ever run into a legal issue, like being checked by a forest ranger or BLM ranger, but maybe it's no so great an idea to go trail riding in dry area with no spark arrestor. It's not a problem with an MX bike on a race course, as most MX courses don't burn very easily.

Our club had an enduro out at our local riding area last weekend, and you wouldn't have been allowed to start without a spark arrestor.
