I appriciate everyones opinions here, i wish it were easier to try everyones setup they have and see which one is the best for our bike, the place i get my stuff from has a dyno, and i'm thinking of getting it run up there after the modifications.

the 2bros. is a nice looking unit, but I have to wonder how strong the muffler mount is as the bracket is not welded to the can, it is riveted and the mounting bolt is only an 8mm bolt- the same sized one that holds the sidepanels of the bike on. rivets come loose where a weld would be a lot stronger and that area is prone to a lot of vibration. but as far as slip-ons go, the only other options are the hmf where there are horror stories about fitment and imploding cans. also, the fmf which is still a question as to what one exactly fits the 250S (powercore 4 or Q4 or whatever) without a 300R header. I guess I would consider getting a slip-on at this point just to have something right now to runand to compare to the full system which I will get when I upgrade to 331cc or 340. I would like to see if the theory of better low end with the oem header and a slip-on is true, vs a full system.[:-]

I like my brothers slip on. I had the fortunate opportunity to meet up with fellow KF member Dirt beaver & check his out. I liked it & got myself the same thing. Without having dealers or individuals all over with these bikes already , I went with the opinion of another owner & happy with the decision.
I also watched eBay for one to turn up & sent a email with a offer.
NIB for $250 delivered. I think that was acceptable. To those that are looking, look at the auctions & if there isn't any action , email them, you may be able to get that Muzzy or other desired exaust cheaper than you thought.

Muzzy is the best.....[8D]Just kidding, I really don't care what I have, I mean take a look at this one on a KLR 250 riding buddy of mine, yep its a Briggs and Stratton 8 hp muffler, I mean I guess that is one way to go.

I really like how that photo compares old and new.

And that tiny pipe has to sound wicked. I love the sound of a B&S engine when you get nail it just right. pupupupupupuPOPpupuPOPpuPOP.
