Exhaust Odor?

Exhaust Odor?
Does anyone else have designated riding gear? I have overpants and a riding jacket and noticed today that when I came in from riding there was a definite exhaust stink to the clothes. I have no exhaust leaks that I can feel and I don't notice it on the bike but the back of my jacket especially, and the pants to an extent have a very strong smell of exhaust. As does my lunch bag when I have it on the rack. I'm wondering if my license plate is creating an exhaust cloud due to the way the pipe turndown directs it right against the plate?
So, has anyone else noticed anything like this?

So, if my coat smells of it, am I riding in a cloud of exhaust and fumigating myself?

Yea my wife always says.... you smell like bike! lol.... i like it... but my guess is that there is a low pressure zone created behind us where the exhaust gets traped in and swirls around, Anyone watch mythbusters? Where they tested if you get better gas mileage in a truck with the tailgate up or down, and with the tailgate up there is a big "pillow" of low pressure air the the high pressure air rides over saving gas... so keep the tailgates up....

well if you really think its leaking.... before it gets hot.... hold your hand over the end of the muffler to trap the gases in there, and see if you hear a hissing noise..... i bet its not leaking....
