Talking Exhaust and Header, please help!

So I'm about to make the purchase on an FMF PowerCore 4 Slip on for my '12 KLX250S, but I just ran across a great deal on a header as well.

So my question is simply should I purchase an FMF PowerBomb Header AND the FMF PowerCore 4? Is this a good set up?

I've done absolutely nothing for mods on my bike, so this will lead to me jetting as well, but I need some expert advise! Please help!

i had a powerbomb and sold it to go to the mega, idk if there will be much on a stock motor but the way i have mine modded to the gills the puch is faster and more abrupt with the mega bomb, but take into account that my motor has had the kitchen sink thrown at it and runs almost like and R bike and will lift the front end in 3rd with the oem pipe so in reality if you can get it for cheep do it

Powercore 4 here and later added a bowerbomb so was able to see it's difference alone and it did change the power to where I had more umph right off idle where it's needed to lift the front tire, my bike is stock with jetting.

Loud is okay with me, honestly! I'm hoping the powercore and powerbomb will do what I'm wanting... Not really ready to bore out my engine... It doesn't even have 1000 miles on it yet.... Thanks for the info all. I appreciate it!

Daveg, I didn't see any that would go past the '09 KLX, would they still work for the 2012?

Linkin5, is the PowerCore combo you have unbearably loud? I started to think about what RimBender said and was thinking maybe doing the FMF Q4 instead....

The '09s and '12s are the same for the slip-ons.
