Baloney!...trailering does count because it's extremely hard on the bike. I just had to replace my OEM front fender because of trailering. Sitting back there at 70-75 mph for several years allows the fender to constantly flutter just a tiny bit...but...over that time it develops cracks at that flutter point near the front of the fender. There were two defined cracks developing in that ridge near the front of the fender. I just replaced it with an identical OEM style Acerbis model.

Now, I'm obviously kidding about the drama of trailering being tough on the bike, but it's weird how I've watched this fluttering in the rear view mirror slowly break down the fender at these two points from highway wind rather than crashes or such.

On another note about trailering, I hear that deej doesn't really ride his bike anyway. I heard a report from one of his neighbors that he just gets his wife to drive around and pull him and his KLX on the trailer, with deej making very loud motorcycle sounds. This explains a lot about how clean and new looking his KLX is, and I'll bet if we inspect his bike it will have two small cracks appearing near the front of the fender.
