RE: Everyone in the NORTHEAST
Well maybe its best they are last... if they were first, all of us would be going by them all the time.... Either way,,,, we are not going to be quiet.... i think pretty much all of us have loud exhausts

RE: Everyone in the NORTHEAST
Well patrick says that you can not take firewood across state lines... so i wont be bringing any wood... Somthing about new bugs... and forest fires..... lol..... so anyone already in new jersey will have to bring wood....

RE: Everyone in the NORTHEAST
I think they sell wood there also, so that's an option. I just know that here in NC at the campgrounds near where I live, you can buy it but they charge you an arm and a leg for it. Not sure if its like that up there or not.

RE: Everyone in the NORTHEAST
Also, bags of wood are 6 bucks a bag for what looked to be about a shopping bags worth... Not sure about not being able to bring you own woodaccross state lines for personal consumption.. I would double check that....

RE: Everyone in the NORTHEAST
Count me in for the sat and sun rides I live local so will not be camping but defineltly hanging out. Is this strictly a klx ride or can my friend a beginner on a drz400s come?

RE: Everyone in the NORTHEAST
I think we should decide as a group, as to allow any other brand bikes to come along.
The purpose of limiting it to the KLX250 is is to group like bikes, riders.
If we limit the ride to only small bore (400cc and less) dual sport bikes.
DRZ 400, 250,
KLR250
TW200
Or any bike the was a Dual sport from the factory as long as the pilot is a novice.I want to avoid Pros and hard core enduro rides showing up. Your thoughts?

RE: Everyone in the NORTHEAST
This sounds like a lot of fun!
I visited the Pinebarrens this weekend, thanks to Dirtsurfers recommendations and help.
My buddy & I had a blast, nearly had the whole place to ourselves.
Had a run in with a patch of ice & lost. Little or no damage to the bike & a couple of bruises for the pilot, not bad, considering a 35mph plus, lowside.
I am not sure if I can make this entire get together, but may be able to put in an appearance. Is it strictly KLX's or are lesser vehicles allowed?
