RE: Everyone in the NORTHEAST
I'm looking at at least an 8 hr drive most of which will be on I-87. I just picked a road that was in the middle of the Google map that was posted and my map program estimates 7 hrs and 40 minutes. We have the days picked now, what about times? I need to figure out if I need to take Friday, Monday, and Tuesday or just Friday and Monday off.

Patrick is whipping up a website for this ride, with a preliminary "registration" so we have an idea of how many are going. The link will be posted for the site when he finalizes it.

here is a link to the wesite campground, state forest land site.....
We are thinking cabins.... 6 per cabin at $65 a night.... comes to around $11 a piece. There is primitive camping too though, We need to reserve these cabins ASAP.

Cabins: Six lakefront cabins with living room with double-deck bunk and fireplace; two bunk rooms with double-deck bunks; kitchen with running water, electric stove, refrigerator; bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. Screened-in porch faces lake. Electricity. Each accommodates a maximum of six people. Cabins are located along the north shore of Lake Absegami. No ground fires and no outside wood

We are thinking to keep this a klx event.... if we get a bunch of other guys they could toast us... most of us are just beginners... he is bringing a toy hauler. ill be staying in a cabin... so the sooner we get a count the sooner we can reserve the cabins.

It will be cool to have a klx event. We can really trade some good ideas on our bikes. I may make that durty dabbers ride the following week also, Iam sure I will see all types of dual sports there. Iam not against having other dual sports at our ride in NJ, but It would be cool to have mostly klxers.
