Ok guys i was talking with another member and he kinda had the idea to have a NORTHEAST KLX meeting. I know there is a bunch of guys in maryland, new york, andPA. What do you guys think of having a meeting somewhere maybe in the eastern part of PA, unless someone know of somewhere good to meet. Id love to get together with somemore klx from up north.Good idea? Bad idea? Know of a location?

 

Good idea. Perhaps find a town someplace where there are available off road riding areas, like the state forests in Mass, or up in VT or ME where we can meet and ride fire roads, dirt tracks, trails, etc. Maybe even a camping/riding thing.

 

I was lookin at the frappr map.... http://www.frappr.com/klx250s and there seems to be quite a few people in the corner of pa, maryland jersey, and ny..... if we could get most of them together that would be great.

 

Iam in for this. I live on the MD/PA line near the susquehanna river (betweenyork and lancaster and south about .5 hr. drive.) I have yet to ride with another klx250s before. I probabley would not travel as far as mass or ny.

 

depending on the distance id be interested... theirs some pay to ride areas in southern pa i believe.. one is an old mining area.. forget the name of the place tho... supposed to be a huge area... im hopin you guys are talkin about doin this in the summertime tho

 

O yea... i was thinking of getting the ball rolling on the planning so maybe middle to end of summer....or whenever. Yea if you guys know of some good ridin areas speak up.... 1 day or 2 days... any other input is more than welcome.....

I have heard of place called Tower City just north of Harrisburg on I81. Not sure if it is a member only place or if you can pay to ride there for a weekend.

I think I'm on the Frappr map but not sure, I'm about as far North in NY as you can get (20 minutes from Canadian border). If I could find a trailer and hitch for my 06 Stratus I'd love to join in on a group ride somewhere around PA wouldn't be too bad. It's just over 6 hours for me to hit the PA/NY border.
