All the same, im not spending money on a carb right now. Despite what laurie put in, changing the carb did not solve her issue. As for suspension, i pass people on the mx track on my SF. I can justify that before a carb.

Sorry...I didn't realize you were a fellow, bad-a$$ Texan. I once passed a ZX14 on my KLX...smoked him bad! Well...he was sitting on the side of the road with a flat...but I passed him.

Lmao! Yeah people are confused when igo to three palms and haul *** on the gp track. I have a set of knobbies for my motard wheels and its so goofy looking! I used to race b class and when i moved out on my own this bike was what i turned to. I love it, it was just a turd! Cant wait to have it running right and have it on the track as a 351

I have a friend with a WR250X with knobbies. I've taken an off road trip with him, and that bike worked surprisingly well in the dirt with the little wheels.

update: it is 3 am. and im **** tired, but i think we made a positive step forward with the bike. changed the pilot to a 45, main stayed at a 132. idled the bike for 20 minutes, slowly beginning revs. eventually i was revving to 9k and letting off and it fell right back to idle as normal. smells richer, which in my case is good. it was more lean than not before, even with a 40 in it.

Also, my cork clutch plates were TOAST. the 351 was icing on the cake for it lol. put new plates in tonight, having my buddy ride it tomorrow while im at work and if all is well he will just fine tune it....fingers are crossed. maybe jets were the culprit all along. sucks that jets are different depending on location and there is no set boundaries.

even if it idles like ****, im clutching up in 3rd tomorrow. waited toooo damn long.

pushing, you go with what works, but it is strange that you can run a 45 pilot.

+1

i put a 38 in mine when i did the big bore but i'm pretty sure the stock 35 would have been enough as the mixture screw on mine got turned in pretty far when i tuned the pilot circuit.
