it'll do a vest or grips, having both on at the same time might be pushing it.

They actually have a pretty good output and your usually running at a good rpm

 

I've run my 70 watt Aerostich jacket for hours at a time at road speeds, better keep an eye on your voltage if you're idling a lot (my gps displays voltage).

I run my Gerbings heated vest on my KLX, works fine.

 

Good to know, need to wire up my gerbrings t5 gloves, lows next week look to be below freezing.

 

Put in an HID headlight bulb (35W) and you'll save 20W right there towards your heated gear. Stator output is 224W, but I dunno how much of that is left free for accessories.

Sounds like it is not an alternator, therefore your output is rpm dependant. That would be 244 @ redline I assume. At 5K rpm, 122watts?

 

It's a stator. I seriously doubt it'd be listed at redline... my guess would be 224W @ 5000 RPM or thereabouts. Maybe somebody else will chime in.

FWIW, my FZ1 makes it's peak output at 5k, and it revs to 11,500.
