Default is this engine OK?

This bike was exhibited with pride at the Laguna Seca MotoGP this July. Really beautiful.

But do you notice something wrong in the motor?

Is this a Quiz/Test? Radiator tubing may be close to the muzzy? header.

Bike is too clean....what kind of carb is that? Thats no fcr.

It has a pumper carb on it and the cyclinder is huge.

The hoses are on the wrong inlet/outlets of the water pump

"IN" the motor? Hard to tell.

From the outside the first thing I noticed was how close that purty red radiator hose was to the exhaust pipe, but that might just be an optical illusion based on the angle the photo was taken.

Upon closer inspection it looks like this chap reversed the hoses where they go into the water pump. Assuming its a stock pump with no way to reverse the pumping direction.....it blows where it should suck, so to speak.

Have to admit I'm not that familiar with the KLX's cooling system to opine whether or not this would create a problem but my gut says not good...

I think they inverted the hoses...
