Default emailed corbin seats

Corbin has a section on their website for product requests. i emailed them and this was their response....

Thank you very much for your interest in our products, we've been
making
seats over 39 years and are the leading motorcycle seat manufacture in
the
country. In order for us to make a seat for this bike we would have to
borrow one at our factory which is located in California. We would need
the
bike for about 4 weeks and we will give the first seat to the owner of
the
bike for free.Thanx
sergio

anyone in cali want to see if they can hook up with corbin for a free seat?? c'mon, our butts are hurting!!

There is, at least in my opinion, a closer and better choice than Corbin.

Sargent Cycle Products in Jacksonville makes a seat that I'll put up against a Corbin any day of the week.

I had a Sargent seat on my ZRX1200 and currently have one on my V-Strom.

A friend of mine in Jacksonville has a KLX250S and also knows a couple of the folks that work at Sargent.

Any interest?

I would be interested. I've even went so far as to research sending my seat pan into some pretty reputable custom seat builders to have them firm and widen the current torture device we enjoy so much. While their products look good, they are usually about $200 more than what an aftermarket seat costs. There is only one manufacturer for aftermarket KLX250 seats in Japan, but they don't widen the seat. As a minimum, I want a seat that is wider where it counts...sort of like the Corbin that is available for the DRZ400.
