Default elev. change from PA to FL... The tour....

Anyone else think of the elevation from where you live to FL at the tour? I ride from 750-1150 feet.... The YMCA camp is at 15'...... um.... thats a big difference.... (elev courtesy of google earth) Is my bike gonna run like crap down there? If so that sucks....

Ems,
Elevation is only 24' here in Tallahassee so not much change for me.
You bike should run better with all the extra oxygen we have here at sea level.
Seeya in a couple of days

You can also check the "Mods & Jets & Clicks" spreadsheet for other elevations & configurations.

I bumpedthe threadyesterday because I added a new page to the speadsheet for suspension settings, so you should see it on Page 1 of the KLX250S forum.

Mike

P.S.:Based on some of your previous posts, Eric, I'd like to point out that its "Mods & Jets & Clicks", not "Chicks"

Hey, that's usually my line ... but if it works for ya, you're welcome to it!

Here's a link to the thread: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/m_67995/tm.htm

Here's a link to the spreadsheet: http://www.airconcepts.ca/Kawasaki%2...%26%20Jets.xls

For the ... uh hum ... "Clicks" vs "Chicks" explanation ... just follow your Bike of the Month campagne trail!!!

You will have more air at the lower altitude so you are more likely to be lean. A 1000' difference isn't that big of a deal though. If the differencewasaround5000', youwould have issues.
