Has anybody used the stock turn signals with this set up? - Thanks!

 

I chose not to use the stock turn signals and use these instead.

With some smarts you can still use the stockers.

 

I've seen it. It looks really bad. You def need small blinkers with the Edge light.
I use the 12oclocklabs upgrade board that has integrated blinkers.

 

Not a fan of anything smaller than the stock lights. Plus the stock ones because of the lens make up are 5 times brighter. Needless to say I now have 8 blinkers on my bike, but you know what, if that helps people see me better than that's all that counts.

 

Had to modify a little but the stock signals with the edge has worked great for me.

 

when i bought mine it had the edge installed with stock blinkers and looked great.
i recently lost one in the woods and installed new ones off my sons Triumph. Next time i need blinkers i will buy the board from 12 o'clock labs, and eliminate them altogether.

 

Thank you everyone for the input. I bought the bike new (already have an "08 KLR650) rode it home and told myself that the contraption holding the plate has to go. The Edge Kit looks like the ticket. Reading some comments about the turn signals on this on other sites, caused some concerned with the illumination factor. I'll start with the stockers and see how I like them. I picked up the tail light kit at Buster's Dirt Shop at good price with free shipping. Thanks agan everyone!

 

your very next mod should be the 351 kit. nuff said.......

 

That is on my list. Only will have to wait as I slowly work them in with my wife. My plan is a jet kit, snorkle and exhaust. BTW - what is your opinion on the FMF megabomb header to go along with the FMF Q4? Once I get these on and my 12 month warranty expires, the 351 will be done.
