Around here the blinkers are required to be 6" away from the tail/brake light. And the DOT is quite likely to be picky; definitely is out to bust converted dirt bikes. So even with a legal DS bike there would be time wasted to get a lecture/ticket that would be better spent riding. Buddy had a converted bike, riding behind him I saw how lame his "legal" lights were. I'll stick with stock (and ride like I'm invisible); might live longer that way.

It seems like the light sits a little far back, like if someone it too close they wont see the signal. Anyone else notice this? Besides that it was a piece of cake to install. The 12 o'clock labs guys were great to deal with.

I had to silicone a piece of thin plastic film onto the back of my plate.
The vibration caused it to stress crack along the bolt holes. I noticed it after about a half inck so i fixed the plastic to the back so i dont loose the plate in the woods.
It's fine now. I'm not sure if the 351cc kit makes it vibrate more or not but at about 2 to 3 k i can see it resonating without the backing. With it the plate doesn't resonate at all.
Keep an eye on your plate for cracking.

No issues with my plate cracking but I'm not off road. I also thought the stock Edge was too dim after seeing it on a buddys bike. If you just get the Edge go with 12 'o clock stuff for more "eye" catching light output or mod it with a brighter light like I did.
