No, you don't need the processor board. That's just an upgrade - a very nice one by the way. Brighter LED's, pulsing brake light and integrated blinkers.
You need the tail light and the blinkers only. 12oclocklabs also sells the stock connectors and charges a small fee to solder them in place, which makes the whole process pretty much plug-and-play.
